What a shame this wasn't 66111 on the cement. I'd been thinking about this new location for the cement empties and decided that this was the morning I'd give it a try. However, the morning passenger was running over 30 mins late and was running in fact in the usual path of the 4M00 cement diagram. Formed of 158784 the 08.53 Carlisle - Leeds service dashes through Town End Farm north of Appleby. Needless to say, by the time 4M00 did turn up the scene was in shadow. Still, it shows the potential on offer for morning shots at this spot.
