JL - 14.10.18 37424 & 37422 3J11 Carlisle - Carlisle, Town End Farm

Sometimes it all just comes together perfectly!
On Sunday evening the skies cleared from the west after days of constant rain and the RHTT, which this year has occasionally been Tractor hauled, set off on time from Kingmoor. With the chance of 37s on this seasonal diagram I was taking no chances and so went to one of my favourite locations for the outward evening working. I was thinking I couldn't be lucky enough to get a large logo liveried leading but when 3J11 rounded the curve at Long Marton I saw that my luck was in. In stunning golden Autumnal light 37424 (AKA 37588 'Avro Vulcan') pounds towards Keld with the Carlisle - Carlisle via the north west RHTT. I headed home a happy man.
