A beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Eden Valley with temperatures upto an unseasonal 19 degrees and much of the foiliage just on the turn. I was tempted out by this mid afternoon FHH coal working. With a friendly greeting from the driver, 66508 climbs through the stunning scenery around Gallansay whilst working a Carlisle - Stourton loaded coal working, the brooding north Pennine range rises in the distance.
