22.1.13 - 66849 'Wylam Dilly' 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Ais Gill

Just in time before the sun dropped behind the hills to the west 66849 'Wylam Dilly' made it to Ais Gill with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk logs. I was certainly not expecting any sun today and its appearance was a welcome change from the grey steely skies we've had for most of January. The snow conditions are very deep in places and drifts higher than many vehicles line the road between Nateby and Outhgill, a snow blower was in operation as I travelled down Mallerstang. A very pleasing snow image to start the year.
