20.8.11 - LMS 5MT 44932 Carlisle - York 'Waverley', Newbiggin

The cloud and rain arrived here in Cumbria today between the 2 southbound steam workings. I had taken the lads out to Appleby to watch the earlier Black 5 hauled Carlisle - Liverpool tour and stood in full sun for the whole time. An hour later the heavy rain arrived and so I headed slightly further north to Newbiggin with the possibility of some exhaust effect due to wet railhead conditions. There was some decent exhaust as LMS 5MT No.44932 powered up through Newbiggin with the Carlisle - York 'Waverley' tour in the pouring rain.
