16.8.13 - 66615 6M11 Hunterston - Fiddlers Ferry, Salt Lake Cottages

Very variable conditions and the prospect of a grid on the Ribblehead logs tempted me out at lunch today. The Ribblehead location was looking a bit overgrown and cars were parked in less than ideal spots so I headed a bit further south to Salt Lake Cottages. Despite the apparent implosion of the Scottish coal business we still see some imported coal via Hunterston over the S&C, although the current situation does lead one to question the future of freight volumes over the line. 66615 drifts around the curve at Salt Lake with 6M11 Hunterston - Fiddlers Ferry FHH service.
