1.3.14 - LMS 46115 'Scots Gaurdsman' 1Z87 Carlisle - Euston, Bull Gill

In glorious light LMS Royal Scot No.46115 'Scots Gaurdsman' works south at Bull Gill with 1Z87 Carlisle - Euston, the Winter CME. This is the first time I've made the effort for one of the Saturday steam workings this year and so I'm pleased with this result. The quality of the light was excellent and the cloud effects over the distant Pennines made for an attractive view. Whilst I don't like the shadowy foreground I do love the shadow of the exhaust trail in the field.
