12.10.10 - 47802 & 47501 3J06 Carlisle - Carlisle, Greengates

A stunning day on the S&C ended with a sunny shot of the outward leg of the RHTT at Greengates. At this time of year it's very much touch and go at this location for the sun at the time the RHTT works south. It has to be bang on time, or even better just ahead of time to ensure decent light and on this occasion we got lucky. Regarding the very unusual 47 traction DRS decided to turn out, with JH on the line photographing today, some might say the fix was in via his contacts at the company. I guess we'll never know, but it's the only time I've got 47s on the RHTT.
