Not the best shot but there couldn't be a better illustration of the kind of weather we were experiencing today. Unusually the logs were pathed in front of 6K05 today and although 6J37 had passed a few minutes earlier in blizzard conditions the cloud cover had started to break by the time 66106 climbed past MP260 with the daily Carlisle - Crewe engineers diagram few minutes later. Lifting the powder snow as she goes it was another lightly loaded consist again on K05.
