1.12.09 - 66079 6N33 Tyne Yard - Tees Dock, Grangetown

Another Winter day where the weather was far better in the east than in the west, very frustratingly for the S&C photographer this is not an uncommon scenario. Having just arrived on Teesside to enjoy the best of the early light I was walking along black path to get into position opposite the South Bank coke ovens when just as I was alongside the disused Grangetown station 66079 appeared hauling 6N33 Tyne Yard - Tees Dock intermodal. In the end this was probably the best shot of a very quiet day.
