My favourite GBRf 66 - 66794 'Steve Hannam' wearing Railfreight triple-grey with petroleum subsector decals - was allocated to the early Arcow on Thursday and I dashed south for a couple of nice shots at Long Preston. I was therefore up early on Friday to see if it would be allocated to 6M38 Arcow - Bredbury. As luck would have it it was, so I set of to target shots at the quarry and then at Ribblehead. I bagged several shots during the quarry shunt and then waited patiently at Ribblehead for the southbound leg. A great way to spend a nice Spring morning.
