JL - 20.3.25 66797 4L76 VSTP Peterborough Yd - March Up Yd, Whittlesea

A long drive back north today offered a chance to stop a few new locations and with the best of the weather expected in the east I decided to visit Whittlesea, Westwoodside and Immingham Biomass terminal on the route home. First stop was the Fenland location of Whittlesea where I was targeting the usually 69 hauled 6L32 Doncaster Decoy - Whitemoor Yard engineers then a VST path put in for mid-morning. I had no idea what would work 4L76 Peterborough Yard - March Up Yard but was very pleased when GBRf celeb 66797 was taken off the Goole Glassworks working and swapped onto this. Seen forging east the through Fenland scenery the 66 looks very much at home on this short haul diagram.
