JL - 5.10.24 86259 1Z86 London Euston - Carlisle, Docker

With the drone in the air west of the viaduct I'm stood lineside set up for the more usual Docker viaduct composition. Then without fuss the beautifully turned out 86259 'Peter Pan' gleams in the Autumn sunshine whilst making a rare appearance at the northern end of the WCML. So rare in fact that this is my very first shot of this WCML veteran. Heading a mainly blue/grey rake and running under headcode 1Z86 from Euston - Carlisle, this tour would return south behind 'Black 5' via the Cumbrian Coast.
