There was a very interesting SRPS railtour working through Cumbria on this fine Spring Saturday. Setting off from a damp Linlithgow at dawn LSL's railfreight grey pair of 20s brought the tour to Carlisle via the G&SW route. From there the other pair of LSL 20s (20096 & 20107) took over for a circular section via S&C to Preston and return via Shap. BR large loco 37403 'Isle of Mull' tailed throughout. The pair are seen thundering toward Birkett tunnel with 1Z32 Carlisle - Preston.
