JL - 8.11.24 70806 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Low Frith

It's been just under 1 month since I was out at the lineside. A combination of a Caucasus trip, workload and poor weather mostly to blame. However, bang on forecast and after a week of total cloud cover Friday afternoon cleared out to leave cloudless skies but a fairly hazy atmosphere. I was out of practice and annoyingly messed up what would've been a nice drone shot of 6K06 in the Lune Gorge, and a drone malfunction meant I also missed my first S&C RHTT shot. In the end I only bagged the working that I'd have been happy to miss! C'est la vie, I've never been one to get stressed out these things, there's always another day. In stonking sunshine Colas beast 70806 thunders through Low Frith with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk set against the now bare avenue of lineside silver birch.
