A quick dash out from the desk today to grab a record shot of the RHTT shakedown run. As preparations are made for the start of the seasonal RHTT workings the Network Rail vehicles were tested today on two out and back runs from Carlisle to Appleby and return. Both diagrams were in the hands of 37/4s from the DRS fleet. I hope this turns out to be the regular traction for our local leaf blowing diagram. As the first of the seasons storm approaches (storm Agnes) 37422 and 37418 arrive and prepare to depart again from the up platform with 3Z78.
