JL - 2.6.23 60096 6F69 Ribblehead - Tuebrook, Ribblehead Sidings

Another strike day saw very little of interest working through Cumbria today. Even the slimmed down freight patterns seemed pretty uninteresting. Apart from a GBRf (ex-Colas) Tug had worked into Ribblehead to load up and form 6F69 boxes for Tuebrook. Along with the logss, this was one of only two freights on the S&C today. With a decent load of 22 JNAs, a fair proportion of 60096's tractive output was required to lift the long formation away from Ribblehead sidings. With the drone in the air it was double bubble as I leapfrogged the working whilst it stopped to pick up another GBRf driver at the station. Seen accelerating away from its brief station stop Impetus' looks nicely at home in limestone country.
