JL - 21.9.22 20096 & 20107 Stranraer - Crewe, Carlisle

Seen at Carlisle's platform 1 having just brought in the 'Ayrliner' rail tour, LSL's 20096 & 20107 take a well deserved rest after a long run from Stranraer via Glasgow. The veteran EE locos would give way here to 86101 for the final leg to Crewe. The tour, which I was on, stayed bang on time most of the day. Unfortunately I had to change here for the last Pendo southbound service to Penrith but I had enjoyed an excellent ride north behind 86101 from Warrington to Carlisle in the morning.
