Up an out early today for the first sunny day of the whole 2024 Christmas period. There were many options on where to go including a 37 hauled test train in the East Mids but with the biomass traffic busy recently I headed up to the attractive Blyth & Tyne area and the north east in general. Starting at Lynemouth and Woodhorn for 6N19 with 60095 in charge. Seen waiting at the Lynemouth starter signal as the golden winter sun reflects of the high capacity biomass covered hoppers.
