Having got up at the break of dawn to see 66779 'Evening Star' arrive at Arcow quarry we spent the day at the southern end of the S&C to see the outgoing diagram amongst other workings. On a fine a bright day the GBRf celeb accelerates away from the distant signal at Long Preston with 6M38 Arcow - Bredbury loaded stone hoppers. Shame about the graffitied hoppers which detract slightly from the beautiful Brunswick Green of the loco.
