As anyone who takes an interest in the rail scene will know the S&C is currently blocked at Eden Brows due to a huge landslip caused by excessively wet weather in Feb. It looks like the line will closed for around 1 year and over that time the regular service trains are shuttling between Leeds and Appleby with buses forward to Carlisle. A worrying state of affairs given the scale of required repairs. At the other end of the line 158855 drifts towards Hellifield at Long Preston forming 09.35 Appleby - Leeds.
