JL - 13.11.24 66751 66311 6A66 Tytherington - Quainton, Denham

Working in the south all week I had quietly planned meetings around these DCR 60 hauled diagrams. In particular I was targeting 6Z22 Aylesbury Loop - Tytherington which leaves Aylesbury in an ideal 10:30 path, making the sun favourable for the run down through the Chilterns. Helpfully, there's a GBRf inbound working around the same time which is top and tailed. There aren't too many clear sections though and so a location must be chosen carefully. One spot where the line is high and clear of the green tunnel which characterizes much of the route is just south of Gerrards Cross where the route crosses the A40 and M25. Seen right in the middle of this section 66751 climbs north with sister loco 66311 leading with 6A66 Tytherington - Quainton Railhead.
