JL - 12.11.24 60046 6Z22 Aylesbury Loop - Tytherington, Reading Depot

Working in the south all week I had quietly planned meetings around these DCR 60 hauled diagrams. In particular I was targeting 6Z22 Aylesbury Loop - Tytherington which leaves Aylesbury in an ideal 10:30 path, making the sun favourable for the run down through the Chilterns. After a failed attempt to shoot this working near Gerrards Cross, I decided to head to Reading depot to grab a daytime shot of the GWR sleeper set whilst being serviced and, if possible, another go at 6Z22 as it headed west. Luckily the sun broke though just at the right time to illuminate 60046 'William Wilberforce' gathering speed past Reading traincare depot with the length rake of empty Cappagh box wagons.
