9.11.09 - 66528 6M31 Ravenstruther - Ratcliffe, Ais Gill Summit

A scruffy FHH 66 No.66528 eventually arrives at Ais Gill with 6M31 Ravenstruther - Ratcliffe loaded coal service, in the still cold air I had been able to hear the trains approach for a good 10 minutes before it appeared in view. Despite appearances there was some cloud around and this working arrived just in time before the scene was plunged into shadow. With a wide angle lens the IBS base isn't too intrusive at this classic location.
