Sun was by no needs guaranteed for today's Cumbrian Mountian Express so I opted for a location either side of the Appleby water stop to maximise my chances. To allow for a quick get away the first spot was Newbiggin, and the superb LMS Princess Royal No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' just strolled past without any fuss what so ever with the returning railtour from Carlisle to Liverpool.
