15.12.08 - 66102 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe, Keld

Today (Monday 15th Dec 2008) was the first day of the new Virgin high frequency timetable for the WCML, and therefore the first day when this diagram, once a WCML regular, ran via the S&C. Since then 6K05 has been one of the most reliable S&C freight diagrams and regularly produces some interesting wagonloads and on occasions variation from the normal 66 haulage. For it's first official S&C run 66102 was in charge and the light load would hardly tax the GM machine, seen here passing Keld in Winter sunshine.
