JL - 16.8.23 37425 37401 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe, Red Bank

A location very familiar to most but a totally new one for me. I was breaking new ground today, forced south due to cloud cover over much of the S&C, plus the very rare appearance of not one, but two, 37s on K05. It was an opportunity not to be missed so I headed for where I thought the chances of decent light would be better. It wasn't nailed on, in fact the earlier Grid hauled logs (my other target) had passed earlier in dull conditions. However, when the main event arrived the clouds parted and the small gallery at this popular WCML spot were rewarded. For such a unique event, in addition to the drone, I was also shooting from the lineside as 37425 'Concrete Bob' and 37401 'Mary Queen of Scots' rolled by with the WCML staple, daily Carlisle - Crewe engineers.
