Heading north up the M6 after shooting double-headed 37s on K05 at Red Bank the light was getting better and better and the cloud cover inland was becoming increasingly impressive. I couldn't waste the opportunity so I called in at Hest Bank for the limes and Bolton-le-Sands for the 'liner. Here's the former gliding over the crossing at Hest Bank right at the point where the WCML genuinely meets to coast for the first and only time. 66094 leads the unique and attractive wagonload with 6V71 Hardendale - Margam.
