JL - 8.1.18 66713 6E44 Hexthorpe - Ribblehead, Ribblehead

After the aborted attempt to operate this diagram before Christmas there were many GBRf men on site to ensure today's operation ran smoothly. The reason for the previous cancellation was wagons 'contaminated' with left over stone from a previous working. This meant the whole lot had to work back to Doncaster. This time there was no mistake and 66713 is seen passing Ribblehead ground frame before stopping just beyond the points and then backing slowly into the siding the with 6E44 Hexthorpe - Ribblehead. Once loaded the working would run round at Blea Moor and run via Hellifield and Preston to Shap Harrisons. Don't ask me why they're taking loaded stone from a virtual quarry to a real quarry!
