JL - 8.11.17 66018 4M00 Mossend - Clitheroe, Ribblehead
Running over 1hour 30mins late 4M00 Mossend - Clitheroe eventually arrived at Ribblehead, fortunately just ahead of the advancing bank of cloud. Minutes after it passed we lost the sun for the rest of the day, despite the forecast for full sun all day. Full DBS liveried 66018 up front confused the assembled gallery as this was not the loco we understood to be allocated. This does however go someway to explain the delay.
