JL - 5.4.21 67027 & 67023 1Q28 Heaton - Derby, Shell Jn

This Easter Monday, although there were decent workings on the S&C, I was once again tempted across the fells and onto Teesside. One of the targets for today was this Network Rail working from Heaton to Derby via Teesside and specifically Shell Junction. Having never got a shot of anything coming off the Wilton branch this was my primary target. I misread the gen and was expecting 37s however Colas pair Stella and Charlotte were also different if not quite as exciting. Working with 'Mentor' as part of the formation 67027 & 67023 depart Shell Junc from the Wilton branch with 1Q28 and head surprising quickly past the fantastic backdrop of the BOC plant.
