JL - 5.4.21 66114 6N53 Skinningrove - Tees Yard, Hunts Cliff

When you've got everything you came for why not push your luck, and this was very lucky indeed! This arrived seconds before the gloom descended. Despite appearances conditions up at Hunts Cliff today were some of the most challenging I've experienced for photography. I was struggling to stand in the very high winds and the freezing temperatures were stiffening the fingers. To ease the suffering I was hoping for a very early departure from Skinningrove for 66114 on for it's short journey to Tees Yard but in the end she was only around 5 mins early as she powered around the curve with 6N53, taking me almost by surprise. The white horses of the north sea fill the backdrop of this beautiful stretch of the North Yorkshire coastline. I returned to the car very cold but very happy.
