An outstanding day on Teesside on one of those rare occasions where I got almost everything I came for. This was the final shot of a lovely day. I was hoping to get a Boulby as well as the returning Skinny at this spot today however I had to settle for one of the two. I'll take that happily as I haven't got a shot at this famous spot before. 66101 which had earlier worked the Redcar - Scunthrope boxes from Tees Yard to Redcar Ore Terminal and return, was pressed into action again for the out and back working to Skinningrove. Seen descending through Skelton with 6N53 Skinningrove - Tees Yard empty steel carriers. Nice to get a friendly wave and toot from the driver!
