Checking the local workings this morning I spotted WCR operated 1Z55 Carnforth - Carlisle in the timetable. I had no idea what it was or what would work it so it was a very welcome surprise to see ex-Southern Region 33029 and sister Slim Jim 33207 powering up through Docker in warm Autumnal sunshine. This was an annual 'Lune Rivers Trust' special that would return via the Cumbria coast behind Black 5 45212.
