Rumours abound about the possible imminent take over of 70s on this Colas diagram and so I wanted to attempt a few last shots of 60s just in case. Although I have plenty of shots of 66s on the logs I haven't done as well when the same diagram when more traditional traction has been employed. Work commitments have always got in the way of photography when these periods of 56 and 60 haulage have come about. That's why I was really pleased to capture this stonker of a shot at the classic S&C location of Ormside. 60087 'Clic Sergeant' hammers upgrade at the start of the south climb with 6J37 Carlisle - Crewe logs.
