You know what they say about the best laid plans. I had high hopes for a long days photting in the Peak District. What would've been my first photting trip to that area. I had several moves planned with time allowed for coffee and lunch. Despite the day dawning very cold, bright and clear some high cloud quickly advanced and ruined the chances for the rest of the day. The one positive was that I explored the New Mills to Chinley area thoroughly and bagged the first inbound daylight freight. 66617 works upgrade to Chinley Junc with 6H43 Brindle Heath - Tunstead. Wouldn't you know it 30 mins later celeb 66783 worked in from Hams Hall. Ah well, there's always next time.
