JL - 28.11.23 70812 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Settle Jn

I've been meaning to record Settle Junction's beautiful semaphore signals for some time and today I finally grabbed the opportunity. As the golden winter sun sets at Settle Junction, 70812 glides off the S&C with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk logs. One very pleasing aspect of this shot is the long shadow cast into the adjacent field including the exhaust shadow. A Northern 158 unit makes steady progress west with a Leeds - Lancaster service.
