At this time of year I switch to concentrating on early and late shots as I'm not a fan high sun pics where scenes look flat and bogies look ill-defined. This was the reason I was staked-out at Tebay around 7ish this on beautiful clear morning in late May for a diagram I rarely photograph. 66430 soaks up the early sun as she works the final few miles with 6C06 Crewe - Shap Quarry empty ballast.
