From hero to zero. Exactly 7 days earlier 60087 left the Tuebrook - Shap diagram to rescue the Mossend - Hams Hall which had failed at Lancaster in the hands of 66789. A week later and it was 60087 herself finding trouble. 6C66 Tuebrook - Shap was bang on time when it crawled into Tebay down loop at 23:45. There it sat until a light engine worked down from Carlisle after 19:00 the next day. Just as the light engine was passing Shap summit I grabbed a record shot in golden evening light.
