A nice turn up for the books. Presumably diverted via Carnforth and Millom due to yesterday's huge factory fire in Maryport, West Cumbria, 6C22 Kingmoor - Sellafield flasks cruise down the WCML near Milnthorpe. I was anticipating the following modal but when this appeared it was a welcome addition to the mornings shots as nothing was reported in RTT. DRS pair 66434 & 66424 rumble towards the loop at Carnforth just a few miles to the south.
