JL - 26.1.18 66020 6E95 Kirkby Thore - Hull CT, Ribblehead

Unusually another DBS liveried 66 was allocated to the out and back S&C gypsum working today. Without a blast on the horn 66020 quietly rounds the curve to Ribblehead station with 6E95 Kirkby Thore - Hull Coal Terminal.
recent events at Ribblehead have made a bad impression locally. It's understood that a photographer has severely pruned the trees that once stood at this location. This hasn't gone down well locally and now many more trees have been planted in their place which eventually will be far more damaging for photography than the originals. There's also signs that suggest CCV is now in operation. If rumours are true I'm sure he was well meaning but we should understand that this environment is not there for our benefit only, and if we go around treating it however we wish damaging walls, fences and trees then ultimately we will all suffer as once accessible locations will be become closed off. Look at Docker as a prime example.
