3rd shot of 5 from a beautiful Teesside morning. I escaped the high winds up on Hunt Cliff to the relative tranquillity of Grangetown for a shot of the regular Redcar - Tyne ballast. The evenly loaded ballast wagons present a pleasing uniform image as 6N68 works between Shell Junc and Grangetown behind a well turned out DRS pet loco 66421 'Carlisle Kingmoor TMD'. With the rapidly changing regeneration of the environment in this area this spot is now probably the best industrial scene. A clue to the future industry of Teesside can be spotted in this view as renewable energy wind turbines dominate the horizon.
