The main target for today was the LSL worked Leicester - Edinburgh Christmas Statesman charter routed ECML. There had been some lineside debate and happily for me, but not for other photters, BR large logo 47593 'Galloway Princess' complete with Eastfield Scotty Dog was leading. Seen racing through Ricknall Grange 1Z34 is 20 down at this point but arrived Waverly on time. This shot was published by Rail Express magazine in their Feb 2024 issue No.333. One of 3 of my shots used in that issue including a double page spread of a snowy S&C scene.
