Work has kept me away from the lineside since early Jan and sadly I'd missed all the recent excitement of my favourite Tug 60026 in S&C sun and snow. Finally this Sat I had some time to myself, it was cloudy and misty in Cumbria but a full sun forecast in the North East so I headed in that direction. There are very few places where a railfan can see 4 working 60s in one day, Tyne Dock offers that opportunity so I headed up to South Tyneside to capture Brush veterans working off Tyne Dock. Shortly after I arrived 60047 'Scafell Pike' departs right on time with 6N22 loaded biomass to Lynemouth.
