JL - 16.7.22 57314 1Z62 Dumfries - Scarborough, Kirkby Stephen

At the start of a hot summers day in the middle of a national heatwave a morning WCRC worked charter tempted me out to an easy-reach local location. I don't do much to showcase the old signal box and semaphores at Kirkby Stephen but a 09:15 passage of the 1Z62 Dumfries - Scarborough charter provided a good opportunity. I would've preferred 47826 to have been leading rather than on the rear but it was nice to get anything as I haven't been out photting for so long. 57314 'Conway Castle' thunders south on the climb to Ais Gill bang on time with an excursion to the popular Yorkshire coast destination.
