With this ensemble working up the Cumbrian coast and back again today and with the GBRf celebrity BR large logo 66 on the Rylstone branch there was a great many things to go for today. For me though, I had to take what I could get nearer to home. This meant flying visits to Smardale, Docker and Greenholme with work commitments interspersed. The final shot of the evening was 37116 thundering up Shap at Greenholme viaduct with 3Q88 Carnforth - Sellafield - Carnforth - Carlisle test train. Seen in golden Autumnal light as the setting sun lenthens the shadows and the air temperate drops rapidly.
