JL - 15.10.18 60039 6E97 Kirkby Thore - Drax, Garsdale

This 10 week contract to move gypsum from Drax to Kirkby Thore has got off to a faltering start. It's only ran about 50% of the time which has disappointed the S&C photographers not least because of the missed opportunity to phot 60s making a triumphant return to S&C gypsum traffic. I'm lucky because I've been able to capture it on both days on which it's ran in decent light. 60039 'Dove Holes' is pictured at the classic Garsdale location with 6E97 running in it's later path which ensured a perfect angle of light. The composition of this shot is having to be adapted due to the amount of engineers plant on site but I still think it's worth visiting.
