JL - 14923 66109 6N40 Tees Yard - Skinningrove BSC Crag Hall

One of those rare days when I was disappointed with a trip to Teeside. I was tempted across by a stonking forecast and the gen that 66109 'Teesport Express' (adorned with Thornaby depot logo) would be working the afternoon 'Skinny'. Despite appearances, the cloud behind me was thickening and this was the only shot I managed to obtain. Still, it's a nice study of 66109 roping down from Hunt Cliff towards Crag Hall signal box with a very well loaded 6N40 Tees Yard - Skinningrove BSC. It's fascinating that despite that despite the fortunes of the indsurty as a whole that you can still see steel trains running on the network in 2023.
