JL - 13.5.23 35018 SR 'BIL' 1Z86 Euston - Appleby, Nr Langwathby

On a warm day in mid-May ex-SR Merchant Navy 'Pacific' 'British India Line' races through the pastoral scenery between Langwathby and Culgaith with 1Z86 Euston - Appleby. The tour worked north up the WCML (steam hauled from Carnforth) then used the freight lines south of Carlisle to join to S&C with a stop at Appleby before heading back to the capital.
