30.11.11 - 66428, 4E46 Ditton - Tees Dock, Cargo Fleet, Teesside - Teesside (west to east)
On October 10th DRS introduced a new service running between Stobart Group's Widnes Intermodal rail depot at Ditton and PD Ports, Teesport conatiner terminal. The new flow uses 'super-low' wagons which are capable of handling high-cube conatainers along previoulsy inaccesable routes. The forecast showed some bright patches for early in the east today so I headed out to see what I could get. Shortly after arriving on Teesside and getting set up at Cargo Fleet, Carlisle-based 66428 approached with a pretty well loaded 4E46 Ditton - Tees Dock. After this the weather closed in and it was back to the day job.
